Founded by Alex Spencer, a strategic executive leader with more than 25 years in the energy and maritime sectors.

Alex spent 13 years at OPITO, the employer-led skills body for the global energy industry, finishing as Chief Operating Officer. He was accountable for global operations and a multi-million-pound P&L, helped double registrations and redesigned quality assurance across 230+ training providers worldwide.

Responsible for creating a team and office in Brazil, and led engagement with the UK and Scottish Governments on the Skills Passport.

His career began in maritime training, as an RYA instructor and examiner and the director of his own training business, so he understands delivery from the ground up as well as from the boardroom.

Alex has served as a Non-Executive Director of Aberdeen Science Centre and the East of England Energy Group (EEEGR). He is an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and an alumnus of the London Business School Senior Executive Programme. He is also a qualified assessor and internal verifier.
